Scholarship: The Joshua Reliford Memorial Scholarship is a one-time scholarship varying in total size from $1,000-$5,000.

Eligibility: Any graduating senior of Ashland Blazer High School with plans to pursue a 4-year college degree. We are looking for students who have demonstrated a passions for working with children in the community and plan to continue to do so through college and beyond.

Application (DUE APRIL 26TH): Please complete the below section. In addition to the below application, all applicants should submit a minimum of 2 letters of recommendation and the most recent copy of their transcript. See below for further instructions. Following review of each application, essay, and the accompanying letters of recommendation, the Scholarship Committee will select several applicants for interviews (in-person or via Zoom). The applicant’s academic performance, essay, letters of recommendation, and interview will all be considered when making a final decision regarding the scholarship award.

Letters of recommendation and Transcript: All applicants should submit a minimum of 2 letters of recommendation from teachers, coaches, community leaders, etc. Additionally, please include an updated copy of your transcript. Essay

Josh chose to dedicate his professional life to advancing the interests of children in the Ashland area. In an effort to carry on Josh’s service and his memory, the Scholarship Committee is looking for an applicant who has demonstrated a passion for working with children during their time in Ashland, and plan to continue doing so in college and beyond. In 1,000 words or less, describe how you have left a positive impact on the children in your community and how you will further impact the community's youth following the completion of your studies and your entry into the professional world.
